| A long series of fills and rock cuts make up the mile of track between Glade City and Meyersdale PA.

| Here, eastbound R216, a dedicated autorack service train, is seen climbing past one of the rock cuts at milepost 214. EMD and a GE lease units add their assistance to the GP40-2 and "Slug" on the head end. Another GP40-2 is on the tail giving the train a shove from Connellsville.
