In the coming years Iron Horse America will be FINALLY be releasing an assortment of exciting new feature length railroad programs as well as a new series of short videos about the hotspots of North America. Many of these shows have been shot over a multi-year period to get you a real feeling for the railroading of the covered area in different seasons, before and after mergers. Only Iron Horse America spends this kind of time and effort to get the best possible shots for you!

A note to the Iron Horse fans and loyal customers. I have gotten letters and e-mails form so many of you over the past few years asking about the "future releases" that we have been promising for what seems like a decade now, and I have had to ask so many folks to be patient. Well, finally we have our new editing facility and have actually begun (or restarted or continued editing, depending on where individual projects were when our old bay died 6 years ago,) to edit and finish some of these long promised shows, as well as some new ones nobody knows about. Starting towards the end of 2008 and throughout 2009 we should begin releasing some of these old and new titles. They will go to DVD or Blue Ray or whatever they need to be distibuted with and I am very happy to be finally delivering on my promises to you all. Thank you for your letters and calls and please watch this site for updates, and we will be launching our NEW SITE later this year when videos start being available. That site will be at RailVid.com

Railfan contributed video clips will be edited professionally to showcase YOUR greatest shots to the railfan world. Contributions on your favorite subjects, locations, hotspots and branchlines will be accepted anytime and footage used will be compensated for.
Must be:
- Tripod mounted footage,
- Without jerky camera moves
- No background noise like discussions or scanner chatter. Just natural train sound.
- Pans and zooms are NOT needed, just nice rock steady shots
- Preferrably on DV or HDV formats, but other good, or irreplaceable shots will be considered.
Think of the footage we deliver and try to duplicate the look.
This show series will be a lot of fun. Be part of railfanning history.
